Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced NCSO with Advanced First Aid to oversee construction safety on various projects in Calgary. You’ll be responsible for implementing safety programs, conducting inspections, and providing advanced first aid response, ensuring a safe working environment for all trades on-site.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and enforce safety policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations.
- Conduct regular site inspections to identify and mitigate hazards.
- Provide advanced first aid treatment in emergency situations on construction sites.
- Train and educate workers on safety practices, including FallPro, WHMIS, and CSTS.
- Maintain accurate safety records and report incidents to management.
Requirements:
- Valid National Construction Safety Officer (NCSO) certification.
- Advanced First Aid certification (required).
- 3+ years of experience in construction safety, preferably on commercial or residential sites.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Strong communication and leadership skills to manage safety compliance.
