Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Millwright to handle conveyor system setup and installation on projects in Calgary. The role involves assembling, aligning, and installing conveyor components, ensuring operational efficiency and safety compliance in industrial settings.
Responsibilities:
- Set up and install conveyor systems, including alignment, belt installation, and drive components.
- Read and interpret blueprints to ensure accurate assembly and integration.
- Perform maintenance and troubleshooting on conveyor equipment as needed.
- Collaborate with other trades to meet project timelines.
- Maintain a safe work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
Requirements:
- Journeyman Millwright certification (Red Seal preferred) with 3+ years of experience.
- Proven experience in conveyor system setup and installation.
- Valid FallPro and MEWP (Mobile Elevated Work Platform) certifications (required).
- Valid CSTS and WHMIS certifications (required; training can be provided if needed).
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Safety tickets beyond requirements are an asset.
