We are currently hiring experienced Crane Operators for a variety of upcoming projects across multiple industries.
Job Description:
We are seeking motivated and skilled Crane Operators to join our team. This role involves the safe operation of cranes and lifting equipment to move, position, and place materials, equipment, and structural components on construction, industrial, and maintenance projects. Candidates with experience in commercial construction, industrial projects, infrastructure, Oil & Gas, or heavy civil work are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate mobile, rough terrain, crawler, and/or tower cranes in a safe and efficient manner.
- Perform pre-operational inspections and routine equipment checks.
- Safely lift, move, position, and place materials and equipment according to lift plans and project requirements.
- Work closely with riggers, signal persons, supervisors, and other trades to complete lifting operations.
- Interpret load charts, lift plans, and site-specific work procedures.
- Maintain accurate records of inspections, maintenance concerns, and daily activities.
- Ensure compliance with all site safety requirements, regulations, and manufacturer guidelines.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience operating a Crane.
- Previous experience operating cranes in construction, industrial, or maintenance environments is considered an asset.
- Relevant provincial crane operator certification and/or apprenticeship registration is considered an asset.
- Strong understanding of load charts, rigging principles, and safe lifting practices is beneficial.
- Experience working around heavy equipment, structural steel, piping, and construction materials is an asset.
- Valid safety tickets such as CSTS, WHMIS, Fall Protection, Mobile Elevated Work Platform and Ground Disturbance are an asset depending on project requirements.
- Ability to work in a variety of weather conditions and project environments.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are considered assets.
