We are currently hiring experienced Instrumentation Technicians for a variety of upcoming projects across multiple industries.
Job Description:
We are seeking skilled Instrumentation Technicians to join our team. This role involves the installation, calibration, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of instrumentation and control systems used in industrial facilities. Candidates with experience in Oil & Gas, manufacturing, power generation, mining, or other construction environments are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install, calibrate, test, maintain, and repair instrumentation and control systems.
- Read and interpret P&IDs, loop drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with instruments, transmitters, control valves, analyzers, and other process control equipment.
- Perform preventative maintenance and inspections on instrumentation systems.
- Assist with commissioning, start-ups, shutdowns, and system upgrades.
- Ensure all work is completed in accordance with project specifications, safety standards, and industry regulations.
- Work collaboratively with electricians, operators, engineers, and other trades to support project and maintenance activities.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Requirements:
- Instrumentation Technicians of all experience levels are encouraged to apply, including apprentices and journeypersons.
- Previous experience in industrial instrumentation, maintenance, construction, or related fields is considered an asset.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Familiarity with process control systems, instrumentation equipment, and calibration procedures is beneficial.
- Valid safety tickets such as CSTS, WHMIS, Fall Protection, and Mobile Elevated Work Platform are an asset depending on project requirements.
- Physically fit and capable of working in industrial, commercial, and construction environments.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are considered assets.
