Job Description:
We are seeking motivated and reliable Scaffolders to join our team. This role involves the erection, modification, inspection, and dismantling of scaffolding systems to support construction, maintenance, and shutdown activities. Candidates with experience in industrial, commercial, civil, or construction environments are encouraged to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Erect, modify, inspect, and dismantle scaffolding systems in accordance with project requirements and safety regulations.
- Read and interpret scaffold drawings, plans, and specifications.
- Safely install platforms, guardrails, toe boards, access systems, and related scaffold components.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure scaffold integrity and compliance with safety standards.
- Load, unload, and transport scaffold materials and equipment as required.
- Work closely with supervisors, safety personnel, and other trades to support project activities.
- Maintain housekeeping and ensure work areas remain safe and organized.
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and productivity.
Requirements:
- Scaffolders of all experience levels are encouraged to apply, including apprentices and journeypersons.
- Previous experience in scaffolding, construction, industrial maintenance, or related fields is considered an asset.
- Knowledge of scaffold systems, components, and safe work practices is beneficial.
- Ability to read and interpret scaffold drawings and specifications is an asset.
- Valid safety tickets such as CSTS, WHMIS, Fall Protection, and Mobile Elevated Work Platform are an asset depending on project requirements.
- Comfortable working at heights and in various weather conditions.
- Physically fit and capable of lifting, carrying, and assembling scaffold materials.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation are considered assets.
